So you are newly engaged and embarking on your first steps of the planning process. An important (and really fun) first step is your wedding paper! You are wanting to shout your engagement from the rooftops and what better way to do that than with your Save the Dates. Your wedding paper sets the tone for your event and lets your guests know what to expect.

Some brides feel overwhelmed when it comes to the whens of sending out their stationery, but don’t worry, we are here to help you!

Remember to build in time for hunting for the perfect invitation suite and for ordering/shipping. You will have to ask your supplier what their turn around time is in order to know exactly when to order. Save the Dates are typically sent out 9-12 months in advance of your wedding with your formal invitations to follow 8-12 weeks in advance. You will want to set your RSVP date at the 30-45 day mark, but be sure to check with all of your vendors so that you know when you will need to alert them of your final headcount.

As always, keep us in mind if you have further questions!
