I have recently had the chance to write a few blog posts for a friend (and sorority sister) from college for her new venue blog, Venue Safari. When Lesley first approached me about writing for her about wedding venues in the Florida Keys, I was honored, and then my head started swirling right away. With so many fantastic venues to choose from, where would I begin? I decided to start with an obvious choice, The Casa Marina Resort.

Not only is the Casa Marina one of the most historic properties in Key West (it was built by Henry Flagler), but it is one of the only resorts in Key West that has a private beach. The ambiance and decor of the resort is breathtaking and it can accomodate the most intimate of ceremonies or the grandest of receptions. I have had the opportunity to work a few events, as well as attend a wedding or two at this property, and each time I visit the property, I am blown away by the friendly staff, amazing food and breathtaking views.
