Today’s post is all about saying goodbye, or maybe just see you later!  Today marks the beginning of a new adventure for one of our team members and a beloved part of the Just Save The Date family.  Leslie, Justin, their two kids (Cohen and Kerrigan) and two dogs (Ace & Maggle) are all packed up and hitting the road for Fairhope, Alabama, where they are relocating for the next few years.  Being a military wife myself, as Leslie is, it is never easy to say goodbye to the friends you make along the way and it is even harder to say goodbye to someone who has been, not only a friend, but also an integral part of the team!

 

Over the past few years, Leslie has had the opportunity to work with so many of our wonderful clients and help make their weddings a dream come true.  There isn’t anything she won’t do to make sure the day goes off without a hitch…helping groomsmen tie bowties, helping serve wine to guests, recreating bridesmaids dresses so they can dance all night…the list goes on!

 

Together, we have shared laughs, tears, ups, downs, moves, birthdays, anniversaries, births of our babies and everything in between.  I knew that we were destined to be best buds when she told me that she also had a love for fountain coke, anything with cream cheese and don’t get me started about our monogram obsession!

We had the opportunity to throw her a surprise Farewell Flamingle a few weeks ago where she got to say goodbye to many of our favorite friendors and receive notes and photos from many past clients. We figured it was the perfect Florida send-off for our Alabama girl. 

Life in the Southernmost City won’t be the same without her and her spunky, southern charm, but we know that we are destined to see great things from her and the rest of the Gilbert family!  As they say in the Navy, Fair Winds and Following Seas and know that you always will be a special part of the Just Save The Date family.  Best of luck on your new adventure!
